March 26, 2012 Oh, what a day!
Yesterday was a great day. We went, my sister, her fiancé, another couple, E. and I to a field. The wind was blowing, the sun was shining, a beautiful spring day.
My father always dreamed to fly and unfortunately until now he had no opportunity to make his dream come true, except a short plane flight some 20 something years ago. But on Christmas he received a kite. A small blue kite who would fly instead of him.
So we took his kite and gave it the chance of the first flight.
At first we were like 6 children who haven’t read the instructions but believe themselves to be know-it-alls. After some failed flights, our kite flew! We laughed so much.
E. took me in his arms turned me upside down like I was 30 kilograms easier and like his back was made of steel. We ran, we laughed, we had a great day.
You don’t need much to have fun. You need a kite and a windy day. And let’s not forget the great company.
On another note, my birthday is soon. Hooray.
